POOKY'S CUT

My journey started in 1995 at the age of 11, I earned the name sweep at a local barbershop called Sunrise. I remember waking up my mom every Saturday morning at 8 am, so I can make it to work by 9am. Sweeping hair for a shop full of elite barbers was like a kid in a candy store full of excitement. Every time a piece of hair hit the floor I was right there sweeping it up and that is because of the work ethics that was in me. During the first year I constantly studied each barber technique and skills as they performed their work of art on each client that supported the shop. By the end of the year I had gained so much knowledge I knew right then I was gonna be a barber. With my earnings I invested in the tools I would need to embark and create a buzz. The year 1996 I was established, at the age of 12 carrying a Jansport book bag with all of my tools. All I needed was an outlet and I was ready to work. After 23 years of love, passion, precision and dedication I can officially say I am a elite barber and all it takes is one service for u to see. The work speaks for itself.
